Back brushing paint improves adhesion

Back brushing paint dramatically improves the adhesion of a paint coating. Our current projects warranty writer has specifically called out back brushing. It is very interesting to hear different opinions about back brushing from other painting contractors on the internets.
We are used to working in paint by brushing or rolling from experience and customer expectations.On this project the Benjamin Moore warranty specifier required a back brush system.
